Before I started taking suboxone, I had been addicted to drugs for 7 years, 4 of them on opiates. I\'d say suboxone helped save my life and am finally able to live normally. No more withdrawing! This allows me to ejoy the parts of my life I couldn\'t see and have been clean for exactly 35 days, which is the longest I have experience since being 13. But I do have to say I had a hard time finding a doctor to prescribe it in NJ, but the one I did find is the most amazing doctor I have ever seen. She has helped me through a few nights I didn\'t think I would make it. So being on Suboxone has saved my life in more ways than one.

I used suboxone over a year ago to get off pain meds. I have to say, I'd never take it again. I'd rather be sick for 4-7 days then 2-3 months. Plus I have ongoing side effects from it. The legs twitching has never gone away, my eyesight gets worse and worse and I still sneeze all the time. I've never had any allergy in my life. And when i was on suboxone the depression was beyond belief. If i had access to a gun i would have pulled the trigger....no question about it. I'm waiting for the class action. I know it's coming, and I'll be first in line. Don't take this drug.

The fact that suboxone is more effective for breaking the addiction to heroin is becoming more commonly known. There are many reasons for suboxone's success but I think the primary one is that it effectively eases the cravings. Hooray for anything that relieves an addict of the burden of their horrible addiction.

This is a fast-growing problem. I think that (finally) we are beginning to take notice and the proper steps to increase awareness (especially among young people) and get people the addiction treatment help they need.
